Deleting a Target System Group

You can directly delete a target system group when no printer group is distributed to the target system group.

If you want to delete a target system group to which a printer group is distributed, you must dissolve the distribution first.

Procedure

To delete a target system group, select the target system group in the PAL object list and click Delete.

Note Note

This action will only delete the target system group. The target systems which were members of the deleted target system group will not be deleted but can subsequently be used in other target system groups.

If a printer group has been distributed to this target system group, you will receive the following error message:

Target System Group "<NAME>" still in use.

Target System Group “<NAME>” still in use.

In this case you must dissolve the distribution of the printer group to this target system group as described in Deleting Printer Group → section Deleting a Printer Group from a Target System Group.

Afterwards, you can delete the target system group as described above.
