This query can be used to perform a sales analysis for one or more media issues using a sales/revenue evaluation. The query can be restricted and evaluated using characteristics that are relevant to the sales department at a media company.
Various hierarchies can be accessed for the media issues selection, so that data can for instance be restricted to the business partner (e.g. the author) or the media product hierarchy (media product family, media product, media issue).
The Key Figure Scheme for Sales/Revenue Analysis (0ME_TLC4_QT003) is used to display the results.
This query supports the Do Not Observe Price Fixing scenario. The initial value used to calculate the value key figures within the key figure scheme used does not include a tax rate.
Queries in which the tax rate is not observed are used in scenarios in which no price fixing is available (price fixing can apply to books for instance).

Restriction to sales document types (0DOC_TYPE) is necessary to ensure that individual key figures are determined correctly. To avoid having to make the entries for the sales document types several times on the selection screen, you can define default variables with fixed values for the respective sales document type and make the variables unavailable for input if necessary. The variable is then executed in the background with the default sales document type defined. Variables used:
