Administrative information on documents and objects

You can access the following administrative information during word processing in SAPscript:

Where-used list for data elements

Call function Extras ® Where-used list ® Data element.

A list of screens in which the data element is used is displayed. If you double-click with the mouse on the appropriate line, a schema of the screen is displayed. The line containing the data element in question is highlighted in a different color.

You can also generate this where-used list during work with a generic list or work list. To do so, position the cursor on the appropriate data element and select the function Goto ® Screen list or press the pushbutton Screen list in the application tool bar.

Note

Only those screens generated with the screen maintenance transaction (Screen Painter) are included in such a list. This means that you cannot check the use of data elements in selection screens or list screens.
