Use

The superordinate term Web content is used to describe content that you display on Web pages, such as articles, link lists, and images.

You can create Web content in the following ways:

You can upload images and HTML files that you created on your local PC.

You can create articles, link lists, and other item types online using forms.

Points to consider when choosing a storage location

Before creating or uploading Web content, decide on the storage location: Do you want to use your Web content on a single Web page or on several Web pages?

If you want to use Web content (for example, an article) on a single Web page, you create that content within the Web page itself.

You cannot reuse this Web content on any other Web pages.

If you want to use Web content (for example, a banner) on more than one Web page, you have to store it in a folder for shared Web content (for example, in the Site Content folder).

You can reuse this Web content on other Web pages.
