Business object type FlightBooking (SBOOK)
Definition
The business object FlightBooking is a legally binding seat reservation for a flight.
Use
This business object is intended for demo purposes only (for SAP training courses, for example). It is not intended for use in another application.
Structure
A flight booking is identified by the following:
The properties of a flight booking include the following: airline, flight number, customer number, flight class, number of the point of sale or number of the travel agency, cancellation ID, reservation ID, and passenger name.
A flight booking can have one of three statuses:
If a reserved booking is not changed to "booked", the reservation is automatically cancelled by the airline after a latest end.
Integration
A flight booking can be made for a direct flight only (business object Flight) and is valid for one person only. The passenger does not have to be identical to the customer (business object Flight Customer).
