For the sake of simplification, the term business object is used in the place of the term business object type in the following documentation.

Where are Business Objects Documented?

Directly with the business object type in the BOR.

In the case of important business objects, the Definition keyblock is also maintained in the glossary.

Where Do You Find Input for Your Documentation?

Input can be drawn from a number of sources:

      The developer’s draft documentation

      Data element documentation

      Glossary

      Entity tables

A description of the data structure of a business object may exist in the form of an Enterprise Data Model (EDM). If documentation has been maintained in the EDM of the business object, this documentation is displayed in the BOR also. You can modify this documentation in the BOR, if required.
