As of SAP NetWeaver 7.0 BI Content Add-On 5, the Retail Purchasing Plan Integration Sample has been updated with some enhanced features and more key figures on the templates. The newly added features are:

  • BI size curve sales query

  • BI size curve generator

  • Actual key figures for the existing templates

  • Incorporating BI size curve ratio in the existing templates

  • Style image column in Web template

Effects on Data Transfer

This planned data can be released to the SAP ERP system using the Retail Purchasing Plan Message in the Release Workbench. In ERP inbound, a purchasing list is created using the Operational Assortment Planning Control (OAPC) application.

Effects on System Administration

To access the BI Size Curve Sales Query, choose   Retail Analytics-IP (transaction UPAR_IP)   Retail Purchasing Plan Integration Example   BI Size Curve Sales Query   (transaction UPARP_SALE_QUERY).

To access the Retail Purchasing Plan Integration Sample web template, choose   SAP menu Retail Purchasing Plan Integration Example   BI Size Curve Generator   (transaction UPARP_SIZECURVE).

To access the Retail Purchasing Plan Integration sample web template, choose SAP menu Retail Purchasing Plan Integration Example Retail Purchasing Plan – Integration Planning Content (transaction UPARP_RPP).

By running the new BI Size Curve Sales Query, the actual sales data is gathered to be used as a basis for the size curve ratio. BI Size Curve Generator can then be used to generate the ratio and save it in the data store object to be used in the planning. In the Size plan, the Get BI Size Curve pushbutton is available to bring the stored ratio in to the Size Plan.

To display the image properly, the master data of the material must be maintained as follows:

  • The file name of the image must be the same as the material ID

  • The format of the image is .jpg in the standard content

This can be changed by updating the Customizing properties. The image file path can also be maintained as a URL in the Customizing properties. The URL provided in the Customizing is for the larger image. The system then automatically appends a subfolder named/low to this URL, which stores the thumbnail image.

Limitation: The use of the image column restricts the freedom of the dynamic layout of the web template such as swapping the axes. So, we recommend you to use the planning layout statically.
