Prerequisites

You are on the initial screen of the Business Object Builder. You have created a subtype for the object type for which you want to carry out delegation.

The settings you make for the person responsible and delegation are displayed in the basic data of the object type.

Defining a customer-specific delegation type across the system

  1. Choose   Settings   Delegate  .

    You are on the screen Display View "Customizing Object Types": Overview.

  2. Choose .

  3. Choose New Entries.

    The system displays the New Entries: Details of Added Entries screen.

  4. Enter the ID of the object type for which you want to define a delegation type in the field Object type.

  5. Enter the name of a person responsible.

  6. Enter the ID of the subtype for the object type in the field Delegation Type.

    Note Note

    This entry now applies system-wide and is cross-client.
