Checking Communication Data

Communication data is subject to an individual check for each record (for example, telephone number, e-mail address).

The following individual checks are currently implemented:

Telephone and fax checks
E-mail address checks
Pager checks
URI checks
The following checks are carried out for the standard communication method:
- Standard communication method value
- Plausibility of standard communication method

  The communication data of an address is not subject to checks until the postal part of the address has been accepted.
