Street
Named traffic area together with surrounding development.
If the address check against the postal regional structure is activated and the "Street directory" indicator is selected for the city, the system checks whether the street specified in the address entry exists.
Data such as the district and regional structure grouping, as well as application-specific and customer-specific data, can be stored for the street. This data can be accessed in programs for data objects that have an address. Data stored for the street or street section (see below) overrides data stored for the city.
The Street
object can be accessed in the following transactions:
SR20 - Create street
SR21 - Change street
SR22 - Display street
or by choosing in the SAP Reference IMG
(transaction SPRO).
You can maintain the regional structure grouping in the SAP Reference IMG
(transaction SPRO) by choosing .
The street key contains the country as well as the street number. The keys are then still unique even if the streets are created for different countries by importing data carriers with external number assignment. The street name and short description are maintained language-dependently.
The street name and short names are maintained language-specifically. Different streets with the same name are created in the system as different streets.
Street has the 'subobject' Postal street section
.
Postal street sections
can contain house number ranges for postal codes, districts and other data. This data overwrites the street or city data.
Postal codes
