Implementations for a business add-in are possible in different software layers, for example, through international subsidiaries, Industrial Business Units (IBUs), partners, or customers. There are multiple use and single use business add-ins.

Note Note

In the case of single use BAdIs (such as the BAdI ADDRESS_CHECK), only one implementation can be active for all software layers. A different implementation can, however, be used for each filter value (for example, the country ISO code).
