You can see the current status of each Web development object at any time in the Web Application Builder in the status display to the right of the object's name. Web development objects can be either an Internet service or one of its components (such as an HTML template, a language resource, or a MIME object).

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

Object States

The possible status of each Web development object is determined by:

The database status:

Saved

This version of the object is identical to that saved in the database.

Revised

This version of the object is different than the one saved in the database.

Publishing status:

Published

The current version of the object has been published on all ITS instances assigned to the system

Part-published

The current version of the object has been published on at least one ITS instance assigned to the system This version is not, however, available on all ITSs.

No status displayed

The current version of the object is not available on any ITS instance.

Displaying Other Publishing Status Details

For each Web development object, you can also display the ITS instance on which the object has been published, when, and by whom. Therefore just double click the object's name.

You can then judge how up-to-date the latest published version of a service or its components is.

To show the publishing details for an object, double-click the status display.
