Before you generate and test your own ICF services for mobile devices, you should check whether the delivered test services itsmobile00 and itsmobile01 are executable. You can use these services, for example, to check whether it is possible to log on to your SAP Web AS over HTTP and whether an HTTP plug-in/ICMAN has been configured.

Procedure

To call the test services, proceed as follows:

  1. Call transaction SICF.

  2. Navigate in the service tree to /sap/bc/gui/sap/its/test/mobile/itsmobile00itsmobile01or .

  3. Select the service and choose Test Service from the context menu.

    The browser starts and the selected service is displayed.

    Note Note

    If the service does not start, follow the instructions in the error message. Possible reasons for the ICF service not starting:

    • The ICF service still needs to be activated.

    • The templates still need to be published (INTERNAL site).

    • No ICMAN has been configured to receive the HTTP requests for your SAP Web AS. To restrict the errors, test whether other services, such as SAP GUI for HTML (Service: /sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui) are executable.
