Modeling with All Layers

In this model, a data warehouse is built including all the different layers. Data is loaded from heterogeneous source systems.

First, data is loaded into several DataStore objects in the operational data store layer and is saved there at document level.
The data is consolidated and updated to the data warehousing layer. It is saved there in one DataStore object. This DataStore object allows flat reporting on all the data at a detailed level.
The data is updated to the architected data marts and saved there in an InfoCube in aggregated form. The InfoCube provides analysis-optimized access to the data and allows multidimensional analysis of aggregated data.
