Component documentationArchiving in SAP Event Management

If you no longer need event handlers, event messages, or event handler sets, you can either archive and delete them, or you can delete them without previously archiving them. If you delete event handlers, event messages, or event handler sets, SAP Event Management also deletes any existing change documents (see Logging with Change Documents).

You can archive the following business objects in SAP Event Management:

Document Category

Archiving Object

Event handlers

/SAPTRX/A0

Event messages

/SAPTRX/A1

Event handler sets

SAPTRX_A2

In addition to calling archiving via the archive administration (transaction SARA), you can also schedule archiving as a regular background job.
