Providing Target Folders for Room Documents
When copying or moving documents and folders, the portal provides entry points for the selection of the target folder.
You can configure templates so that room folders or folders for room documents are available in the following entry points:
Entry Point |
Description |
Current Room |
Provides all folders of the room as targets in a room. |
My Room Folders |
Provides all folders of the user’s rooms as targets in the portal. |
Modifiable entry point |
Provides any folder from the Knowledge Management (KM) repository as a target in a room. The folder in question can, for example, be used for publishing room documents. The system queries the path to the folder, the name, and the description of the entry point when creating the room or adding the room part.
Alternatively, you can configure the template so that the output parameters of the CM room extension deliver the folder path.
The folder path for each entry point must be unique. For example, the folder path /documents/Public Documents is not suitable for a modifiable entry point because a KM standard entry point offers this folder path. |

Description |
Priority |
Number for establishing the priority in which the system displays the entry point in the sequence of entry points (default value: 3). The lower the number, the higher the priority.
After making the entry point available, check the effects of the priority. If there are entry points with a higher priority, your entry point may not be visible, but can be launched from More…. |

If you want to hide the entry point, remove the selection. |
