The Help Center on the SAP NetWeaver platform of SAP Business Suite enables you to provide application users with company-specific process-related information.

Help Center Functions

The Help Center is available for ABAP applications (transaction dynpros) and Web Dynpro ABAP applications. The following figure illustrates the Help Center functions by way of an example.

Description

Link to application help

Users launch the Help Center in the same way that they launch the application help. You can use a link in the Help Center to launch the application help.

Links to files and Web pages

Process experts (with corresponding authorization) can create links to Web pages or files in the Help Center of any application.

The files must be saved in a network folder set up for Help Center content.

Notes on the application

Each user can create their own notes about the application in the Help Center editor. These notes cannot be viewed by other users.

Frequently-asked questions

Process experts with the corresponding authorization can enter and manage frequently-asked questions and their answers in the Help Center. Users of the applications access the answers by using the links to the questions.
