General Information on the DataSources for Title Reporting 

Special Ledger (FI-SL) and Profitability Accounting (CO-PA), which form the data basis for Title Reporting, are generating applications. Since both applications are set up in the customer system, the DataSources that extract the data for SAP BW must be generated once the special ledger or operating concern has been set up.

This means the objects normally supplied for Business Content cannot all be supplied with the Business Content for Title Reporting. You will need to enhance some elements manually.

Objects available with the Business Content:

·        Queries

·        Data targets: InfoCubes and ODS objects

·        Update rules (assignment of communication structure to data targets)

·        InfoSources (communication structures)

·        DataSources (R/3) and transfer structures (BW) for master data

·        InfoPackages for master data

·        Process chains for master data

 

Existing Business Content objects that you will need to enhance:

·        Process chains for FI-SL and CO-PA transaction data

 

The standard delivery does not include:

·        DataSources for FI-Sl and CO-PA transaction data (R/3)

·        Transfer structures for FI-SL and CO-PA transaction data

·        Transfer rules (assignment of DataSource (transfer structure) to InfoSource (communication structure)) for transaction data

·        InfoPackages for transaction data for generated DataSources

 

The following activities must be performed for these objects that are not supplied:

·        Once the FI-SL or CO-PA DataSources have been generated, they must be replicated to SAP BW

·        The DataSourcesmust be assigned to the appropriate InfoSource and the transfer rules must be defined

·        InfoPackages (initial and delta load) must be created

·        The InfoPackagesmust be assigned to the corresponding process chain
