 Product Activity

Definition

The Product Activity screen is a Web screen that you can use to display and change key figures and alerts for XML messages of type ProductActivityNotification (product activity messages). You can only use the Web screen for the Responsive Replenishment scenario.

Product activity comprises product-related key figures and information from a product activity message, such as the following key figures:

  • Baseline sales

  • Promotion sales

  • Forecasts

  • Stockouts

  • On-order stock

  • Stock on hand

Use

On the Product Activity screen, you can have an overview, per product activity message, of the received key figures and alerts belonging to a location product. You can also simulate or overwrite key figures.

Structure

Alerts

In the Product Activity screen, you can display alerts with priority, alert type, and creation date for a location and a product.

Display Partner-Specific Information and Key Figures

You can display the following data for a product activity message:

  • Partner-specific information such as the Global Trade Item Number (GTIN), the partner product number, and the base unit of measure

  • Key figure status

    The Data Import Controller sets a status for the sales and stock data from the customer XML message. The status depends on the error type (such as missing or invalid data) and on the result of the data validation and simulation, where missing or incorrect data was already extended or corrected by the Data Import Controller.

    • No data available (0)

    • Key figure missing (1)

    • Data invalid (2)

    • Simulated (3)

    • Activated (4).

      You can only use the sales and stock data in the following planning runs if you correct missing or invalid data either manually or automatically using a simulation .

  • Key figures (original and modified by you):

    • Forecasts

    • Sales

    • Stocks

    • Consumptions

You can also display the notes that the customer stored for each key figure. You can display key figures from a simulation as well as key figures that the Data Import Controller validated and activated.

If key figures for stock or sales are missing, the corresponding errors are highlighted in red. The system displays the relevant alerts.

Manual Correction of Missing Data

On the Product Activity screen, you can manually overwrite key figures or manually trigger simulation of all key figures. You can also activate key figures so that the key figures are saved in time series data management (TSDM) and you can use them for planning runs in the Planning Service Manager (PSM), for example.

Key Figure Personalization

On the Key Figure Personalization tab, you can configure which key figures the system displays for the location product.
