Purpose

SAP® Analytics for High Tech can help you more effectively manage and improve your business and optimally align execution with strategy. This solution makes critical business information accessible, actionable, and complete across organizational and functional boundaries.

This application enables you to submit queries regarding forecasted sales versus actual sales, top five customers, and so on. The results of these queries are displayed in views.

Features

SAP Analytics for High Tech offers queries in the following areas:

·        Performance

This analytics application provides a view on customer service performance and the responsible service team details. The service manager is alerted about service level compliance violations, compliance, and complaints statistics by the customer.

The service manager can drill down (by customer) to the responsible service team and completion rates by service representatives.

·        Profit

This analytical application provides a view on overall service profits by the following areas:

ˇ        Region

ˇ        Products

ˇ        Top five customers

·        NDPI Projects

This analytical application enables you to check project status and compare projects. By selecting one piece of detailed information, you can display tasks such as project resources.

·        Forecast

This analytical application provides an overview of the actual sales versus the forecasted sales. Here, the variance is calculated from the actual sales quantity against the forecast quantity value.

A negative variance means that the actual sales quantity is lower then the planned sales; a positive variance means that the actual sales is higher than the planned sales. The key figures are displayed on several levels, such as sales organization, product, and month.
