Why Is Security Necessary?

If you are using your SAP Knowledge Warehouse system to store productive data, you need to ensure that this data is stored securely and can be recovered in case of a system crash or other events that might lead to data loss without preventive measures.

In addition, you need to take into account access restrictions for the information stored in your system – not every system user should have (read / write / administrative) access to all information. Such access restrictions can also be a legal requirement that you need to fulfill.
