Configuring the SAP Management Console View to Display Systems and Instances

You can configure the startup view of the SAP Management Console (SAP MC) to display the set of systems and instances you want to manage.

• You can choose the instances that the SAP MC automatically displays at startup as follows:
  1. In the SAP MC, choose  Tools  Settings .
  2. In the Settings dialog box, select History.

     The pane on the right displays systems to which you have been connected in the past. Load the systems as follows:

     1. Choose the instance you want the SAP MC to display on startup.

     2. Choose Add.

     3. Choose Apply and then choose OK.

     Similarly, you can remove instances from the start-up configuration.

• You can save the current configuration to a file as follows:
  1. Choose  File  Save Landscape .
  2. In the Save dialog box, enter the required data.
  3. Choose Save.
• You can load a configuration from a file as follows:
  1. Choose  File  Load Landscape. 
  2. In the Open dialog box, select the configuration you want to load.
  3. Choose Open.
