Restarting a Cluster NodeLocate this document in the navigation structure

Restart an SAP Mobile Platform Server node as needed.

Context

For example, restart a node in order for configuration changes to take effect. You can only restart a server if it is currently active, meaning in online mode.

Procedure

  1. In Management Cockpit, select Cluster.
  2. View status information for all SAP Mobile Platform servers in the cluster node.
  3. Select a server node to view its details, and click Restart. During the restart, the server's services are down, so no status is visible. Remain on the screen during the restart.
  4. Wait for awhile, and then refresh the screen to verify the server node restarted.
