Function documentationCompleteness and Gap Reports

With the reports in this area you can verify if your Solution Documentation is sufficiently covered with TBOM assignments and test cases. You can check which test plans are impacted by changes in the solution documentation.

Activities

In the Test Management work center, choose Analytics.

Under Completeness and Gap Reports, you can use the following reports:

  • TBOMs and Test Cases by Executables

  • Test Case Assignement to Solution DOcumentation

  • Test Cases

  • Test Plans - Node and Test Case Changes

This report finds test plans for which the underlying set of solution, branch, and view has changed after generating the test plan.

The system determines whether test plans differ from the current solution documentation because of the following changes:

    • The structure of the solution documentation has changed, for example, a new process with test cases has been added, or test cases or structure nodes that were included in the test plan have been deleted.

    • There are new versions of test documents, which are included in the test plan.

You can check such test plans, and update them by integrating the changes and saving them again.

In the report results, you can open the test plans in change mode by double-clicking on the title. Before you save the test plan, you can check in the test plan structure, for example, which structure elements have been removed or added. (The system indicates these changes with symbols.)
