You can schedule the execution of automated test cases for several test packages.
You can choose whether to process the test cases in the foreground or in the background. Processing in the foreground allows you to view each step and enter modifications to system defaults manually. Ensure that the execution mode Background
is selected only if the tested transactions don't have a user interface.
The test engineer has assigned a test package to your user.
In the Tester Worklist
view of the Test Management
work center, select a test package that contains automatic test cases.
The test cases that are assigned to the test package, are displayed.
Choose
.You go to the Scheduling
dialog box.
If you perform a trial execution and you do not want the status of this trial execution to be transferred to the status analysis of the test management, deselect the Copy status in Test Workbench
checkmark.
If you want to create TBOMs and run the Business Process Change Analyzer, select the Activate TBOM Recording
checkmark.
To execute the test cases in the background, select Background
in the Execution Mode
dropdown box.
Define the start trigger: immediately, start date and time, after Job, or after event.
If you set the Periodic Job
checkmark, you have to define the period: ourly, daily, weekly, or monthly.
Choose OK
to schedule the job.
