Information for a technical system that is registered in SAP Solution Manager has probably been sent to, and consumed by, several applications, so you cannot just delete the information in the SAP Solution Manager landscape management database (LMDB). You have to also deactivate the system's data supplier, and remove the information from the System Landscape Directory (SLD) and from other consumers.
If you delete technical system information in the LMDB, it is only deleted temporarily. It will be restored after the next SLD synchronization, when any new information on the technical system in the SLD is sent to the LMDB. The result is a fragmentary, invalid system information in the LMDB, because only changed information is synchronized.
A specific sequence must be obeyed.
To delete technical system information from the system landscape, proceed as follows:
In SAP Solution Manager, access the SAP Solution Manager: Configuration
work center.
Under Managed Systems Configuration
, select the technical system to be deleted, and choose .
