To create a test configuration, you can do the following in the Test Management
work center:
Choose Create
.
Choose Solution Documentation
, select a solution and navigate to the business process. Right-click and choose .

Enter required data:
If you create the test configuration in the Test Repository
view, select a solution.
Enter a test configuration name.
Select a test tool
Enter a test script name, version, title, and package.
Choose OK
to confirm.
You go the editor for test configurations.
Enter the required data:
Choose a title according to the naming conventions of your organization.
Select the application component that corresponds to the kind of business process you want to test.
Select a person responsible.
Select a transport package.
Enter a test profile that has been defined in the system under test (SUT) management.
To edit an eCATT test configuration, choose Launch eCATT
.
Optional: On the Test Data
tab page, select a test data container. To maintain variants, choose the Variants
tab page.
You can define variants, which are sets of different parameter values. ECATTDEFAULT
is the default variant. Its values are defined on the Parameters
tab. If a variant has a parameter that has no value assigned to it, the corresponding value from ECATTDEFAULT
is used.

To edit the third-party test tool, choose Edit

Save our entries.
The test case is created, and test configuration and test script are saved.
The automatic test case is created and can be used in test planning and testing.
