You create a test data container for a third-party test tool test configuration.
Under Common Tasks
, choose Easy Test Automation.
You go to the SAP Solution Manager Test Automation Initial Screen
.
Under Test Configuration
, select the existing third-party test tool test configuration.
Choose Change Object
.
You go to the Test Configuration change screen.
Choose the Test Data
tab.
Create a new test data container:
Add a row and enter a name under Test Data Container
.
Do not use blanks in the name.
Press Enter.
You go to the Create Test Data Container
screen.
Enter data as required.
Define the SAP Solution Manager context:
Choose
.You go to the Workbench Settings
dialog box.
Select a solution, branch, and system role.
The system role is user-specific. Another user can use the same system data container with another system role without having to change the RFC destination.
Choose Save and exit

On the General Data
tab, select a system data container and a target system.
The selected target system is displayed in the top area of the screen.
Create a parameter:
On the Parameters
tab, add a row.
Under Parameter Reference
, choose Search for Data Elements
.
The data elements in the target system are displayed.
Select a data element.
Choose Accept
.
You go back tor the Parameters
tab.
Enter a name and a value.
Save your entries.
A plausibility check is performed to make sure the values comply to the specification of the data element in the target system.
