To monitor task schedules, task logs and their status, and run tasks for related systems, define initial settings for the system administration environment.
SAP delivers, for example, component-specific task templates for the session with inactive task frequencies. You can change these inactive task frequencies to the SAP default task frequencies, or your own settings.
You have created your solution landscape.
You have set up the RFC connections between SAP Solution Manager and the managed systems in your solution landscape.
You have authorization for the administration function ADM

The Task Inbox displays the open tasks for your systems.
Note
If you have not yet initially set up tasks for a system, or if the system does not currently have any open tasks, a link labeled No open task for system <system>
is displayed. Click this link to start the Central System Administration session for the system.
