Procedure documentationTransporting a Dashboard

 

In the Dashboard Builder, all information is delivered in dashboards. Usually, after Creating a Dashboard, you want to transport it from the development system to the testing or productive system.

Prerequisites

You are creating a new dashboard, or modifying an existing one. When saving the dashboard, a screen Assign package and transport request has opened.

Procedure

  1. For a new dashboard, specify the package to which it belongs.

    Note Note

    If you are changing an existing dashboard, in the transport request selection dialog, the package may already be assigned, and cannot be changed.

  2. Choosing the value help button of field Request/task, displays a list of existing open transport requests assigned to you. Choose one of them.

    Note Note

    If there is no open transport request available, select the radio button Create New Transport Request, and fill in field Short Description.

  3. Choose button OK.

  4. To transport your dashboard, start the Transport Organizer (transaction SE09), find your request, and release it.

Result

The dashboard is put in a transport request.
