The Solution Documentation Assistant gives you a detailed view of the analysis results for the Analysis Structure and its Check Rules.
You have opened an analysis and, on the Analysis Results
tab page, you have chosen the Structure
tab page.
Results are displayed in the Object: Analysis Object with status flags. The rating of the structure nodes is determined using assigned identifying check items. If a structure node is not assigned an identifying check item, the system calculates the rating from the rating for the subordinate nodes, if these exist.
Depending on the results, the structure nodes have flags for the following ratings:
Active
:
All subordinate nodes were rated as active.
The subordinate nodes were rated as either active or not analyzed.
Probably Active
: At least one subordinate node was rated as active or probably active.
Note
The results for a structure node also take into account the analysis structure hierarchy, as well as the the assigned check items. In this way, the result of a business scenario summarizes, for example, the results of all assigned business processes. This can result in a rating of probably active if, for example, a business process has both active and inactive process steps.
The results of the analysis for all time periods are shown by default. A node can therefore be rated as probably active if, for example, it is only active during one of the time periods.
No Result
: All subordinate nodes have been analyzed without a result (due to an error, for example). No subordinate node is rated as active or probably active.
Not Active
: None of the cases mentioned apply and at least one subordinate node was rated as inactive.
Not Analyzed: If the node has no flag, it has not been analyzed.
The rating of a node includes both subnodes and the identifying check items assigned to the node. The analysis results of the check items and check steps that are assigned to the check items are displayed next to the tree structure.
Note
To see whether a rating was created by the analysis or changed manually in the tree structure of the analysis, move the cursor over the structure object. The quick info for the structure object shows how the rating was created.
Note
Informative check items can also be assigned to a node, but they do not contribute to the rating of the node.
To display the analysis results of check items and check steps of a node, click a rated node in the analysis structure.
To change the results of an analysis manually, choose Change Rating
.
To display how the rating of nodes is calculated, choose Legend
. Using a simulation, you can visualize the valuation function of the analysis. You can see how the rating of a structure node changes if the rating of subordinate structure nodes changes.
