Creating or Extending Test Plans

As with the results of the analysis, you can create or extend a test plan at any time, even when optimizing the test scope:

You can use Test Plan Create Test Plan to create a test plan for all test cases currently included in the test scope.
In the dialog box that then appears, you can select where to create the test plan:
- In the Test Organizer, in other words, the test plan is created in the Test Organizer with the test cases assigned in the SAP Solution Manager.
- In the partner test management tool that you specified in the analysis, in other words the test plan is created in the partner test management tool with the test cases from the tool.
You can use Test Plan Extend Test Plan to add all test cases currently included in the test scope to an existing test plan.
In the dialog box that now appears, the system allows you to extend all test plans that exist for the project you selected. If you choose a test plan from a partner test management tool, all the test cases from the same tool that are currently in the test scope are added to the test plan. If you choose a test plan from the SAP Solution Manager, all the test cases from the SAP Solution Manager that are currently in the test scope are added to the test plan.
