In the Solution Directory, you can copy data from the following sources to your solution:
A project
Business Process Repository (BPR)
The Business Process Repository is a structured set of all preconfigured structure elements for business scenarios and processes that you can reuse.
Existing solutions
You have:
Created a solution
Created a project to copy from a project in the Project Administration .
Created other solutions with business process scenarios to copy business scenarios, business processes, and steps of another solution from the Solution Directory.
Assigned Solution Directory roles to users. For more information, see the SAP Solution Manager Security Guide.
Call your solution in the solution directory (transaction SOLMAN_DIRECTORY):

The solution header data contains:
The navigation role
The structure level
The status of the change request if you are working with Change Request Management (see Creating a Change Transaction )

Check-Out Status
for checked-out business processes or business steps in the solution attributes of a maintenance project (see
Assigning Solution Attributes
).

Business Scenarios
.
Choose the
Structure
tab
Proceed as follows:
Specify whether you want to copy business processes from the
Business Process Repository
from a
Project
or another
Solution Directory
solution into the possible entries help for the field
Selection Help
. If you want to copy objects from the BPR, select the option
Business Process Repository Extended Search
to call and extended search function with which you can search the BPR for implementation content.
Proceed as follows, depending on your selection:
From the Business Process Repository
Choose a business scenario in the input help for the
Scenario Name
column.
Confirm the following dialog box.
The system copies the business scenario and its business processes/process steps.
From the Extended Business Process Repository Search
The system opens the extended search in a new window. To search in BPR, switch to this window. For more information, see Extended Business Process Repository Search .
From a project
Choose a business scenario in the input help for the
Scenario Name
column.
Choose
Copy Options
.
Flag what you want to copy, and how you want to handle the documents in the dialog box.
Confirm.
The
Logical Component
Assignment
dialog box may appear.
Check the assignment of the logical components to the systems.
If it meets your requirements, confirm. Otherwise, assign the logical components correctly first. For more information, see Defining Leading System Role and Adding, Changing or Deleting Other System Roles .
The system copies the business scenario and its business processes/steps.
From another solution in the Solution Directory
Choose a business scenario in the input help for the
Scenario Name
column.
Choose
Copy Options
.
Flag what you want to copy, and how you want to handle the documents in the dialog box.
Confirm.
The
Logical Component
Assignment
dialog box appears.
Check the assignment of the logical components to the systems.
If it meets your requirements, confirm. Otherwise, assign the logical components correctly first. For more information, see Defining Leading System Role and Adding, Changing or Deleting Other System Roles .
The system copies the business scenario and its business processes/steps.
Choose the business scenario status.
To be able to monitor your business scenario and business processes in the Business Process Monitoring session, you must set the
Status
to
Production
. For more information, see

Save your entries.
