 Edit System Relationships

Use

Maintain system relationships to specify the prerequisite for the replication of ID mappings. Specify business systems with a specified system use, e.g. development, quality assurance or production, for each integration server. Assign the business systems to the integration server with which they exchange data.

Prerequisites

Integration servers for which system relationships are to be maintained, have been flagged as integration servers, as described under Edit Business Systems . The business systems to be assigned have been put in the business systems overview.

Features

You can edit system relationships in two ways:

  • System relationships for simple system landscapes:

All business systems in a system use for which data is to be exchanged by ID mappings, are collected under Standard Relationships .

  • System relationship for more complex (branching) system landscapes:

You can specify the source and target integration servers in cases in which one source business system serves several target business systems, in addition to the Standard Assignments , with Extended Assignments .

The systems involved in the data exchange are listed in the corresponding columns. The corresponding business systems across system uses, are displayed row by row.

Caution Caution

Assign the same system type across system uses to the same rows.

End of the caution.
