Procedure documentationModifying a Business Blueprint Project

 

You use this procedure to modify a business blueprint project in BPB to enhance the business blueprint in SAP Solution Manager. While you are editing a business process, other users do not have the permission to edit it unless you publish or revert your changes.

Procedure

Adding a Business Scenario

  1. Open the business blueprint project.

  2. In the Business Blueprint perspective, place the mouse pointer on the project name and choose Business Scenarios speed button.

  3. In the toolbar, choose Toggle View/Edit Mode.

    Use Refresh, to get the latest content from the server before performing any edit operations.

  4. If you want to add an existing business scenario to the project, perform the following substeps:

    1. In the Search in BPR screen area, search for the business scenario.

    2. From the Results pane, drag the business scenario to the Business Scenario List section.

  5. If you want to create and add a business scenario to the project, perform the following substeps:

    1. In the Business Scenario List section, choose Add.

    2. In the New Business Scenario window, create the business scenario.

  6. Save your entries.

Note Note

You can drag a business scenario from Results and drop it in the Business Scenario List. For that, you need to check whether the logic components of both scenarios are compatible. Once compatibility is ensured, you can then modify the newly added Business Scenario.

Renaming a Business Scenario

  1. Open the business blueprint project.

  2. In the Business Blueprint perspective, place the mouse pointer on the project name and choose the Business Scenarios speed button.

  3. In the toolbar, choose Toggle View/Edit Mode.

  4. In the Business Scenario List section, select the business scenario.

  5. In the Business scenario Details section, choose Rename.

  6. In the Rename dialog box, rename the business scenario.
