Object documentationInteractive Reports for Databases - Performance

From the point of view of the end user, reaction times for accesses are one of the most important criteria for database performance. In the context of interactive reporting, these two reports give you a quick overview of the development of these metrics over time:

  • Database Performance (ABAP Systems)(Start of the navigation path <system ID> on <host name> Next navigation step Performance Next navigation step ABAP End of the navigation path )

This report displays the time per access, and the number of accesses, classified by read and write access, which gives you an overview of the performance and usage of the database.

  • Database Performance (Java Systems)(Start of the navigation path <system ID> on <host name> Next navigation step Performance Next navigation step Java End of the navigation path )

This report displays the time per access, and the number of accesses, classified by read and write access, which gives you an overview of the performance and usage of the database.

Note Note

  • For information about how you can specify the desired databases and the time interval to be displayed, and how to call interactive reporting, see Using Interactive Reporting.

  • For information about the different display options for the reports for databases with regard to metrics and threshold values, see Interactive Reports for Databases.
