This procedure specifies the availability of technical components.

Procedure

  1. In the IT Calendar, select the days.

  2. In the context menu, choose Schedule Work Mode.

  3. In the Schedule Work Mode for <technical component> screen area, enter the required data.

  4. To copy information from a template, perform the following substeps:

    1. Choose Fill from Template.

    2. In the Pre-fill Parts of this Work Mode from a Template window, copy the required information from the template.

    Note Note

    The templates available for pre-fill, are dependent on the work mode type, and single or recurrent time pattern. So, when you choose Fill from Template, only those templates based on the current work mode and time pattern will be fetched.

  5. If you are planning a periodic work mode, on the Scheduling tab page, set the occurrence of the downtime.

    Note Note

    In an SAP system, you can define location-specific calendars (such as the factory calendar). These calendars can incorporate both regional holiday regulations and location-specific company regulations.

  6. On the Description tab page, describe the purpose and effect of the downtime.

    You can upload documents to support you description.
