For the managed system and the solution for which the service is to be delivered, you ensure that basic technical requirements are met, for example the following:
The managed system belongs to a solution.
The RFC connection to SAP Solution Manager works.
An up-to-date version of ST-SER
exists.
In the SAP Engagement and Service Delivery
work center, choose Services
.
Choose the Service Delivery Readiness
link.
You go to the Self-Diagnosis Overview
.
If critical or very critical alerts are displayed, check whether the solution and the managed system for which the service is to be performed, are affected.
Display the alert message, and ensure that the prerequisites for the systems for which the service is to be performed are met.
The selected managed system is ready for service delivery if no red alert is displayed for the solution and the managed system for which the service is to be performed.
