In the Dashboard Framework, SAP delivers a lot of dashboards and apps, to show you the status and performance of your managed systems and applications. You can configure these dashboards and apps according to your requirements. The app documentation contains information about configuring it. This section describes the configuration of dashboards, independently of the apps.
To configure a dashboard, call it, go to the configuration screen with Configure
, and proceed as follows:
If you want to display an additional app, choose Add New App
. The apps assigned to the dashboard are displayed.
Select an app and choose OK
. You go to the configuration screen of the app.
To no longer display an app, choose Delete
.
If an app has a configuration app, you can configure it with Edit
. The configuration app is displayed, and you can make configuration settings. The app is displayed at the right-hand sie. The current settings in the configuration app are shown when you choose Preview
.
To make the settings, choose Apply
.
Note
To not display the app during configuration, set the user parameter SM_DFWK_NOPREVIEW
(the app is then only shown when you choose Preview
). To set the parameter, proceed as follows:
In the Parameter
tab.
Extend the Parameters
list with an entry with Parameter ID
SM_DFWK_NOPREVIEW and Parameter Value
X.
Save your changes.
To change the order in which the apps are displayed, drag them into the desired positions.
To save your changes permanently, choose Save Dashboard
; to cancel the configuration of the dashboard and return to the old status, choose Cancel
.
You can also define an automatic refresh of the displayed data after a certain period in the normal display of the dashboard. To do this, choose the Automatic Refresh
dropdown list box, and select the time period, after which you want the data to be updated. Regardless of whether you set the automatic refresh, you can manually refresh the display at any time by choosing the Refresh
button.
Note
Note that the automatic refresh setting is stored user-specifically and dashboard-specifically, that is, if you make a setting in a dashboard, it applies only for your user and for that dashboard.
