Configuring the RFC or HTTP Listener 

The IGS RFC and HTTP listener must be configured to be prepared for requests.

The configuration for the integrated version is done in the instance profile of the SAP Web AS. Note 844669 describes the configuration in the instance profile.

 

As the standalone IGS 7.20 is installed without an SAP system there is no instance profile. The configuration is stored in the format as described in note 844669 in file <IGS-Installation-Directory>/igs/conf/IGSProfile.pf. Some parameters are set with default values after installation but others are not maintained. According to note 844669 this file can be modified.

 

All necessary parameters of the integrated IGS have default values in the C-kernel.
