Modeling Business Intelligence Data with SAP
NetWeaver Visual Composer
With SAP NetWeaver Visual Composer, business users can easily configure business intelligence (BI) applications in a visual modeling environment and deploy the results in the SAP NetWeaver Portal. Like everything in Visual Composer, a BI application is easily modeled using a visual user interface rather than manually writing code.
This document provides information about administration for this scenario from the point of view of the business user. This includes information about administration of BI connectivity on the portal as well as BI-related functions on the Visual Composer server.

Create and configure a connection to a BI system |
To create a connection to an SAP BI system, use the SAP BI Connector. For more information, see the following path in the SAP Customizing Implementation Guide: SAP NetWeaver → Business Intelligence → Reporting-relevant Settings → BEx Web → Integration into the Portal → Create BI System in the Portal.
