Specify Filter Conditions for Source and Target Objects

Use

You can use filter conditions to specify key areas in the table which contain the data for one customizing-object. For example, you can specify that a field must have a specified constant value. You can restrict the Customizing Distribution to specified contents, with filter conditions (select rows from a customizing object). You can specify filter conditions for a source object, if they apply to a source field which does not exist in the target. This is relevant above all when the source object has more fields than the target object.

Prerequisites

You are in the synchronization object editing screen.

Specify Filter Conditions for a Target Object

  2. Enter the required data: field name, operator and a constant.

    Note Note

If you specify several conditions for one field name in different rows, they are automatically linked by the OR operator. If you specify several conditions in different field names, they are automatically linked by the AND operator.

    End of the note.
