Power Users' Guide

Use

Power users are users with advanced knowledge in certain applications and with special permissions or roles. They work in the specialist departments in the company and are available to other users as contact persons.

This guide describes the possible tasks assigned to power users. Power users do not require extensive technical knowledge of the systems used.

Scenario	Explanation
Enterprise Knowledge Management	This scenario contains several variants in which power users perform activities: You use the Content Creation, Publication, and Access variant to manage folder structures and the documents they contain in the portal. Business users in specialist departments can use the Web Page Composer to create and publish Web sites for a company's own intranet or for an external information portal. Business Planning and Analytical Services	This scenario shows you, as a power user, how to make planning-specific data and information available for the different types of users in your company using the tools provided in SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence (BI).
