Procedure documentationDisplaying the Execution Report

 

Test execution reports provide detailed information about the test execution, including the steps performed, the parameters and, possibly, information about what went wrong. They tell you exactly what a test did and why it may have failed.

Prerequisites

You have executed a test configuration or a test script. For more information, see Executing Tests.

Procedure

  1. Depending on the test tool, to display a test execution report do one of the following:

    • eCATT or a composite test: Choose Start of the navigation path Display Log Next navigation step Solution Manager Log End of the navigation path.

    • CBTA or a third-party test tool test: Choose Start of the navigation path Display Log Next navigation step Test Tool Log End of the navigation path.

      Note Note

      By default, the CBTA execution report is in HTML format, but you can choose Microsoft Word format. For more information, see Specifying the CBTA Execution Report Format.
