You use personalization to fit the structure of an overview page to your personal requirements at runtime. For example, you can determine the order of the assignment blocks (UIBBs) yourself simply by moving them with the mouse. You can use the personalization editor to determine additional attributes for individual sections or assignment blocks. The system launches the personalization editor in a separate dialog box.

Prerequisites

At design time, administrators can determine if personalization is active. You can allow personalization for the entire application or for individual content areas. For more information, see Overview Page Editor for Floorplan Manager.

Features

Users can do the following via personalization:

  • Determine the behavior of individual assignment blocks when an application is launched.

Users can determine if the assignment block is expanded or collapsed when the application is launched.

  • Move assignment blocks with the mouse.

  • Call the personalization editor to specify additional attributes for sections or assignment blocks.
