 Report: Central Session Management

Usage

You can analyze sessions across solutions.

Prerequisites

You have:

  • Solutions created

  • Sessions created

Functional Scope

Standard Variants

By default, you can:

  • create report variants, i.e. sets of selection conditions.

  • Create layout variants in the SAP List Viewer (ALV), i.e. specify the results display.

    Note Note

    A layout restricts the output view. You may not see details which you selected in the selection screen, because these columns are hidden in the current output layout. Do not use a restricted layout as the default view for all users.

  • SAP delivers the following variant templates:

  • Default variant

    Meaning

    SAP&EWA7D_RYD

    All EarlyWatch Alert sessions of all solutions in the last 7 days, with red and yellow rating.

    SAP&EWA_CMON_R

    All EarlyWatch Alert sessions of all solutions in the current month with a red rating.

    SAP&EWA_LMON_R

    All EarlyWatch Alert sessions of all solutions in the previous month with a red rating.

    SAP&EWA_T_RYGD

    All EarlyWatch Alert sessions of all solutions with a red, yellow or green rating, today.

To call the variants, proceed as follows:

  1. In the initial screen, choose Central Session Management, Start of the navigation path Goto Next navigation step Variants Next navigation step Get End of the navigation path.

  2. In the dialog box that appears, choose Execute.

  3. Choose a variant.

  4. Run the report

Report output

The system displays the report with the SAP List Viewer (ALV). With the SAP List Viewer, you can print, filter, sort and export the report into a spreadsheet, such as MS Excel.

You can:

  • Display the report in HTML or Word format:

    1. Select the row of the session for which you want to display the report.

    2. Choose Start of the navigation path Edit Next navigation step Display HTML Report End of the navigation path.

      The system displays the report.

  • Save HTML report:

    1. Select the row of the session for which you want to save the report.

    2. Choose Start of the navigation path Edit Next navigation step Save HTML Report End of the navigation path.

      You can save the report locally.
