Procedure

  1. To analyze the messages in error status, click the <number of error messages> - Navigate to Error Monitor.

    You go to the Message Monitor.

  2. In the Message Filter screen area, apply filter criteria.

    The number of messages that failed is displayed, with its component.

  3. To check when the messages failed for a component, select the component.

    The trend graph helps you to analyze how many messages failed, compared to the total number of messages processed during a period. You view the trend for the past 24 hours (hourly) or for the last 7 days (daily).

  4. To check when the messages failed for a sender component, select the component.

    The trend graph helps you to analyze how many messages failed, compared to the total number of messages processed during a period.

  5. Check from which sender component the greatest number of messages failed during the last 24 hours.

  6. To find the main root cause of messages in error status, in the View by list box, select Status.

    The result is more accurate for longer time ranges, such as a year or a month.

  7. Select the error status with the greatest number of messages.

  8. In the trend graph, check whether the problem still exists.

  9. To check the sender receiver details for the error messages navigate to message flow monitor.
