Procedure

  1. In the Test Management work center, open the Administration view.

  2. Choose Register Test Management Tool from Third Party for BPCA.

  3. Select the relevant partner tool.

  4. Choose the Partner Test Management Test Case Types view.

    This view contains all the test case types supported by the partner tool. The type 3PTM_DEFAULT_TC_TYPE is automatically added during registration. It functions as a fallback type if the partner tool reports unregistered test case types during the change impact analysis.

    The following attributes are displayed for each test case type:

    • Type key

    • Group for test case type (manual or automated)

    • Description of the test case type

    • Standard execution effort in minutes

      The Business Process Change Analyzer uses this standard effort if it is not able to identify execution efforts for the individual test cases during the change impact analysis. If the partner tool does not report a standard test effort, you can specify a value here.

  5. Choose the Partner Test Management Attributes view.

    This view contains all the test case attributes supported by the partner tool.

  6. Choose the Partner Test Management Attributes view.

    This view contains all the allowed attribute values for a selected test case attribute. If this view is blank for an attribute, there are no restrictions on the attribute values.
