Procedure

  1. Under Service Documents, choose Create.

  2. In the Create New Service Session dialog box, enter a solution on which your new service session is to be based. The solution must contain the system in a logical component for which you want to create the self-service.

  3. Enter the planned date as of which this service is to be carried out.

  4. Choose either the Self-Services or Guided Self-Service tab, in the dialog box. For more information, see:

  5. Expand the node in the Select column and select the Solution checkbox.

  6. Choose Create.

Result

The service session you just created is displayed in the table, sorted in reverse date order. If you want to display only those service sessions that you have defined, select the Mine option in the Service field. The table contains the following information for each service session:

  • Solution

  • Session

The link in this column opens the selected self-service session in a separate window..

  • Delivery date

  • Rating

The rating of the service document is your assessment, or is determined automatically.

To display further information about a service session, proceed as follows:

  1. Select a service session in the table.

  2. An additional screen area appears, with the data for the session.

  3. The technical details are displayed in the Details tab. If a document was already created in the self-service session, you can access it in the second tab, Attachments.
