You want to assign attributes to your solution.
You have created a solution.
You have set up SAPconnect to send e-mails in Customizing of SAP Solution Manager. For more information, see
.Define the following solution settings:
Setting |
What you need to know |
---|---|
Solution ID and language |
You can control authorization for solutions with the solution ID (authorization object: D_SOL_VSBL). |
Monitoring graphic refresh period |
|
Knowledge Warehouse information |
You can only display the Knowledge Warehouse information. |
Document copy options |
The following copy options are available:
Additional option to copy documents within projects, if you are copying a structure element of a project into a solution:
|
Session language |
Select the language for the service sessions. |
System for central objects |
You can define systems on which you set up central storage for objects such as manual test cases, external applications, and eCATT test configurations. If you flag a central system as obligatory, you no longer need to assign logical components for the business scenarios, to the test cases, on the Test Cases tab. |
Systems for automatic test cases |
You define systems, in which automated test cases are executed, with the system data container. For more information, see Creating a System Data Container in the Test Automation Framework. |
Setting the visibility of the top node |
You can only hide the top node if it has no subnodes or no documentation is assigned to it. |
Assigning a maintenance project |
The maintenance project is prerequisite for being able to remodel substructures of live solutions. To do this, select an existing maintenance project or create a new one and assign it. Note The system branches to Project Administration. Assign the corresponding project manager role to the users. For more information, see the SAP Solution Manager Security Guide. End of the note. To activate business scenarios and processes, as a project leader or administrator, activate the check-out/check-in function that runs according to the dual control principle. You can select the following settings:
|
Activating change history |
You can trace changes. For this you need to have assigned a maintenance project to a solution. |
Activating a global attribute throughout the solution |
A global attribute that is assigned to a structure element is copied as standard. If you set the global attribute as active for a solution, make sure that it is included on tab pages within the solution. The global attribute has the effect that subsidiary structures and business content that originate from this solution can be restricted. If the global attribute is not active, it is not included in the overall structure and on all tab pages, even if there is a structure element to which a global attribute is assigned. |
